Bad Employees - It gives the workers a sense of security
It gives the workers a sense of security to know they have a positive letter of recommendation in their possession. However, it is more efficient to counsel difficult employees about expected guidelines of behavior, and how they have acted wrongly, before you go restructuring your department! If you're dimissing the jobholder for drinking on-the-job, for instance, don't beat around the bush. If this is the case, then you must involve the entire Human resources or Management team in making your own company based warning form. But when their bad outlook affects their work or that of their co-workforce, it becomes a serious issue. But, you have many other choices which may cost you and the small company less money, less disruption and less worry. Be sure to take some time when creating the employee hygiene policy because it will be your standard when it comes to disciplining employees that choose to ignore it. Dividing various tasks among several employees will give them less control over the firm finance and prevent embezzlement. Be up-front, take responsibility and allow your personnel some time to grieve only then can you move forward to full firm recovery. I recognize that I've received a copy of this layoff notice. If the worker's last day is the day you are speaking with them, have that final paycheck ready for them to take home right away. Business owners should recognize this from the time they hire their first employees.
